Cattle escape in South Sioux City, NE accident

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - Around 9 p.m. Monday, a truck carrying 57 cattle went off the road in South Sioux City, Nebraska letting some of the cattle escape.

Nebraska state patrol say the truck was headed westbound on I-29 and took the exit going south on 77 when the truck left the road.

Authorities say nine cattle escaped the truck, but they were able to corner and capture them.

The rest of cattle were unharmed in the accident and transferred to another vehicle.

Authorities say the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
