Historic event coming to Norfolk, Nebraska

Norfolk has been chosen as one of two sites for the 2014 "Nebraska Chautauqua."  That's a week-long event that follows the old-style Chautauqua tradition, complete with historians and actors depicting historical figures.  Organizers say the event will give audiences a chance to see how events of the 19th century shaped the modern age.  It'll be based at Warren Cook Park and runs June 18th to the 22nd.
