(KTIV) - A new report reveals that more than 4.2 million Americans have now signed up for Affordable Care Act health insurance as of March 1.
That new report also contained information about the Siouxland states.
In Iowa, more than 15-thousand have signed up for insurance plans. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says 15,346 people in Iowa signed up for private health insurance between Oct. 1 and March 1.
More than 25-thousand have signed up in Nebraska. The report says 25,582 Nebraskans have selected a plan. Statewide, more than 54,300 Nebraska residents are eligible for plans through the federally facilitated marketplace.
In South Dakota, the report shows that nearly 7,000 people of the more than 16,000 who qualify have selected a plan.
