"Biggest Loser" host says its important to start your day with breakfast

For a lot of parents out there, it can be hard to juggle working, parenting and being a good spouse.

It can sometimes be even harder to take some time out for yourself.

But, for "Days of Our Lives" actress and "Biggest Loser" host, Alison Sweeney, she says starting your day off with a good meal is good for everyone.

"Eating a healthy breakfast, does make you, does get your brain going so you are a better planner and you do have more energy and enthusiasm to face your day and help your kids get ready for school," said Alison Sweeney, actress, host and author.

Throughout the day, Sweeney suggests always having healthy options, like almonds and fruit, will help keep your energy up.

And while getting some exercise can be tough, she says using resistance bands or light weights during the commercials of your favorite shows will also help you feel good.
