Grain elevator in Pierce, NE given more time to come up with investors


PIERCE, Neb. (US92/KTIV) - The Nebraska Public Service Commission has given the Pierce Grain Elevator Company more time to come up with money before it's forced to close it's doors.

An Attorney for Pierce Elevator, Inc has been in contact with the Director of Grain for the N-P-S-C about major interest from a big investor.

The company attorney requested more time to make sure the people investing could commit to the dollars that are needed

The Pierce Elevator was granted another week to come up with the funding.

Right now, the company is limited in what they can do.

So far, no employees for the elevator have been let go.
