SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Creighton Bonstead is just over nine months old.

"He'll be 10 months a week from tomorrow," said father Kyle.

He's a baby that's full of life.

"He's a very mild-mannered, happy-go-lucky kind of a kid," added Kyle. "Very rarely cries, very adventuresome."

And he's already fully-immersed in the world of college basketball. His pick to win the NCAA tournament this year? The Creighton Bluejays.

"They've had a great season," said mother Erica. "We've enjoyed watching them and keeping up with them. Having a baby named Creighton, we were pulling for them this year and we knew they were going to have a great year."

The Bonsteads aren't even Bluejay fans. The family just liked the name Creighton.

"Nothing really to do with the university or the Blue Jays. We just liked his name."

Joining the Blue Jays in the Final Four, Creighton has Florida, Wichita State, and Kyle's favorite team, North Carolina. But the Bonsteads knew that there was an obvious choice for who to pick as the national champion.

"We just knew that his particular bracket, that we would put his name on it and save it for him and have Creighton going all the way," said Erica.

And if Creighton's bracket wins the Bonsteads an office pool or two?

"He's got a savings account," they both laugh.

Besides a savings account, Creighton also might just have a knack for this March Madness stuff.
