People and pets strike a pose with baby animals

Animal lovers, pets, and youngsters had the chance to meet, pet, and even kiss baby animals, including bunnies, chicks, and goats, while getting their picture taken, all for a good cause.

The Sioux City Animal Adoption and Rescue Center's 4th annual "Bunnies and Buddies" photo shoot raises money to help the center pay for veterinary care for the animals that come in.

Five-and-a-half-year-old Yorkie mix, Storm, gets dressed up for the occasion every year.

That's because her owner said it's a great way to support the center and have some fun.

"This is more like my child dog, my furry child, so we actually send pictures to what I call her mom, who's in college. And, my mom likes them, so grandma gets the pictures. It's kind of fun. It's just like having a little kid in my world," Cami Clausen, of Sioux City, said.

The photos costs $25. And, if you missed your opportunity, you can go to the center Sunday from 11a.m. to 3p.m. on Sunday.
