Muskies crush Omaha 5-2

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Five different Musketeers found the back of the net as Sioux City rallied to defeat Omaha 5-2 Saturday night at the Tyson Events Center.

After giving up seven goals in a loss to Sioux Falls on Friday, the Muskies struggled in the first few minutes, giving up a goal to Omaha less than two minutes into the game.

At the 12:35 mark of the first, Adam Johnson fired on net, scoring to tie the game at one.

In the second period, it was the Muskies capitalizing in the first few minutes.

Two minutes in, Bobo Carpenter broke the stalemate, scoring his first career goal.  33 seconds later, Waltteri Hopponen netted another to put Sioux City out front 3-1.

Leading 3-2 heading into the third Brandon Hawkins and Jake Montgomery each found the back of the net to secure the victory.
