A one-vehicle accident sent a Siouxland woman to the hospital


A Siouxland woman is recovering following a one-vehicle accident in northeast Nebraska over the weekend.

Officials with the Stanton County Sheriff's Office said the one-vehicle accident happened early Saturday morning. They said Jennifer Carley, 38, of rural Stanton was heading eastbound on 834th Road about four miles southeast of Stanton when she lost control.

Carley's pickup truck rolled into the north ditch. She was transported to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk with unspecified injuries.

The cause of the accident has not been released, but Stanton County authorities said seatbelts were not in use and the pickup as totaled.
