STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) -

The state fire marshal was expected to be in Storm Lake, Iowa Monday as investigators begin trying to determine what started a fire that did major damage to the Hillshire Brands turkey plant.

It was reported at seven 'o clock Saturday night.

Fire crews from four departments battled the blaze for more than three hours before getting it under control.

One firefighter was injured but was soon released after treatment at a hospital.

600 people work at the plant.

It will be closed until at least Tuesday.

Company officials say it's too early to say what the future holds for the plant or the people who work there.
