Special mass honors babies who died before birth

Babies are precious gifts of life. A mass to remember the infants who died before birth was held at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City Tuesday night.

All children were honored who died due to miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, abortion, and other before birth fatalities.

Names of those little ones were read aloud and the families lit a candle in remembrance. "We're going to remember them all our life. They are our kids and they were angels and they're waiting for us up there. We're going to see them again, I know that. We're going to see them one of these days," said Ezequil Ruiz, Le Mars, Iowa.

This the 4th annual memorial mass held by the church.
