The National Weather Services in Iowa and Nebraska will be participating in a drill Wednesday at 10 a.m.

(KTIV) - The National Weather Services in Iowa and Nebraska will be participating in a drill Wednesday.

Here is the timeline:

10:00 AM Drill begins. The Storm Prediction Center issues a Test Tornado Watch for all of Iowa and Nebraska valid until 11:00 am CDT.

10:10 AM Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Omaha and Sioux Falls issues a TEST Tornado Warning for their Iowa and Nebraska counties.

10:20 AM WFO in Hastings issues a TEST Tornado Warning for their Nebraska counties.

10:30 AM WFO in Cheyenne, WY issues a TEST Tornado Warning for their Nebraska Panhandle counties.

10:35 AM WFO in North Platte issues a TEST Tornado Warning for their Nebraska counties.

10:40 AM WFO in Goodland issues a TEST Tornado Warning for their Nebraska counties.

11:00 AM Drill sequence ends.

The drill is part of Severe Weather Awareness Week in Nebraska and Iowa.
