UPDATE: Woman identified in deadly crash near South Sioux City, NE

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - One person is dead following an accident on Highway 77 between South Sioux City and Dakota City, Nebraska Thursday afternoon.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the victim is 66-year-old M. Lynn Moes from Dakota City.

The accident happened around 12:30 at the intersection of Highway 77 and Atokad Drive.

Authorities say Moes was driving west through the intersection, when she was hit by a vehicle going north on 77.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, was not hurt.

The investigation continues.
