Summer Day Camps to be held at Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center

Posted:

(SUBMITTED) The Woodbury County Conservation Board announces its popular summer day camp schedule.

These camps are designed to encourage hands-on learning through outdoor explorations, hiking, activities, games, and more. The programs are led by the naturalist staff and trained volunteers and include camps for ages 3-12 year olds. The number of campers is limited to ensure a fun experience. There will be several weeks of camp sessions, including 4-day; 3-day; and 2-day camps. They are held at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center. The cost of day camps includes a T-shirt, refreshments and supplies for all campers. Those children in daylong camps must bring their own bag lunch. All campers provide their own transportation to and from the Nature Center or camp site.

Registration will begin Wednesday, March 26 for Woodbury County Conservation Foundation Members. General Non-Member registration starts Wednesday, April 10. For more details and camp registration click here or you can call 712-258-0838.
