Muskies focused on "consistency"

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Sioux City closed to within four points of the Omaha Lancers and locking up the 2nd seed in the Western Conference with a 2-1 win over Sioux Falls on Friday.

The Musketeers return to the ice to battle Tri-City in their home finale on Sunday.

The squad is riding high following their win over their I-29 rivals.

They're on a three game winning streak and out scored their opponents 10-4 over that span.

While their final three opponents are the worst teams in the league, the Muskies are focused on one thing down the stretch.

"Just play a consistent level of hockey the right way" Jared Thomas said.  "Get some wins here coming down the home stretch and go into the playoffs on a roll."

The puck drops at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Tyson.
