Tri-City spoils Musketeers home finale

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Tri-City played the role of spoiler Sunday downing the Muskies 3-2 in their home finale.

After a scoreless first period Patrick Curry put the Storm out from 1-0 with a goal at the 7:10 mark.

Less than a minute later, Adam Johnson tied the game up at one a piece with his 13th goal of the season.

Tri-City answered right back to take a 2-1 lead into the third period.

30 seconds into the final skating session, Ryan McMurphy gave the storm a 3-1 advantage.

Sioux City continued to battle and pulled within a goal when Jerad Rosburg found the back of the net.

That's where the rally ended.

Sioux City hits the road for its final two games of the season.  The Musketeers will take on Team USA on Friday and Youngstown on Saturday.
