Malaysia missing jet latest search area charts

Posted:

(CNN) -The search goes on, nearly a month after Malaysian Airlines flight 370 disappeared.

In a briefing in Perth Thursday, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott described the search for the plane as "the most difficult in human history."

And he warned there was no guarantee the plane will ever be found.

Abbott also said authorities will spare no effort until they've done everything possible to find it.

In the latest search, up to eight aircraft will set out today looking for telltale debris across an 91,500 square-mile zone.

Up to nine ships will search, including one British submarine racing against time to hear the signature pinging from flight 370's flight data recorder.
