A new volunteer website for Siouxland

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Are you looking for a way to give back and to make a difference in your community?

National Volunteer Week starts Sunday.

That's why the YMCA in South Sioux City, Nebraska is launching a new volunteer website.

It's designed to help organizations looking for volunteers and people who want to volunteer.

"One of the challenges has always been being able to connect volunteers and organizations. It kind of a search for volunteers to find organizations that might fit their passion for volunteering," said Kevin Engel-Cartie, Executive Director.

The website is up now, but is still fully being developed.
