Fire crews have grass fire near Floyd Monument in Sioux City under control

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Fire crews rushed to the scene of a grass fire Wednesday afternoon.

It broke out around 2:30 near the Floyd Monument along Highway 75.
You can see the charred side of the hill in this this video.
Firefighters were able to get the fire quickly under control before it could spread to nearby buildings including an apartment complex.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Sioux City firefighters are on the scene of a grass fire near the Floyd Monument in Sioux City.

This is the second day firefighters have been called to grass fires in Sioux City.

We'll have video of the fire on News 4 Wednesday night.
