Avery Peterson scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lift the Sioux City Musketeers to a 4-3 game one victory over Omaha in the opening round of the Clark Cup playoffs.

The last time the Musketeers won the Clark Cup in 2002, they had to go through Omaha in the finals.

If they wanted to get back to the Cup finals, they'd have to go through those same Omaha Lancers, who they took three out of five from in the regular season.

Peterson scored less than two minutes into overtime to give Sioux City the win.

Brandon Hawkins and Brock Boeser added a goal each for the Muskies, who take a 1-0 series lead.

The pick drops for game two of the series at 5:05 PM Sunday in Omaha.
