Norfolk School District approves three strategic action plans
NORFOLK, NE. (KTIV/US92) -
Members of the Norfolk School Board looked at future educational plans for the school district.
Monday night, the board reviewed and approved three strategic action plans that focus on career awareness, curriculum, and technology. School officials said these action plans will make sure the district is meeting its goals.
"I think the ultimate goal is to improve outcomes for students. Which we talked about in the very beginning, if we do these three things, we know graduation rates will go up and our student achievement scores will go up as well," said Jami Jo Thompson, superintendent Norfolk Public Schools
Each plan includes ongoing review of personnel, programs and resources to make sure the students within the district are getting the best education opportunities possible. The goals range from completion in the spring of next year to the spring of 2018.
