Norfolk, NE prayer breakfast focuses on leadership

Several hundred community and business leaders in Norfolk, Nebraska, came together Wednesday morning for the 10th annual Mayor's Leadership Prayer Breakfast.

The event, which was put on by Mayor Sue Fuchtman, and the Christian Men's Connection of Norfolk, is designed for people to come together to pray for the community and national leaders leading up to Easter Sunday.

The breakfast also featured several community members leading the crowd in prayer for various facets of the community. "You know, it's amazing to be out here this morning and see over 600 people that come out to join together to pray for strength, and leadership, as we go into this Easter season," said Sue Fuchtman, Norfolk, NE Mayor.

The keynote speaker was Joe White, who's the President of Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Missouri. White is also known for his work with reaching teens. He's authored 16-books aimed at teens and their families. He used a mixture of stage drama and videos during his message.
