SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A Sioux City man faces charges after police say he robbed three people, one of them had to be hospitalized.

22-year-old Vasean Markworth is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of false imprisonment.

Authorities said the first incident happened on March 30 near 26th and Pierce Streets in Sioux City.

They said Markworth threatened two 15-year-old teens, taking money and other belongings.

Police said early Wednesday morning, Markworth attacked a 28-year-old woman in the 2400 block of Pierce Street.

They said she was locking up her business when he demanded cash and her debit card.

Police said Markworth forced the woman into her car and drove her to a bank on Hamilton Boulevard.

It was there, the woman was able to escape.

She was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Markworth was tracked down by police early Thursday morning.
