Worker offers Hard Rock Hotel & Casino construction update
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
When it comes to progress at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino construction site, workers say they're right on track.
They're working seven-days-a-week to make sure they can meet their schedule of opening by this summer. They had some challenges in the winter, but they've adjusted when necessary.
From a paving perspective it doesn't look like the building is nearly ready. But, construction workers say they're doing well.
"Everything's going fine. It's on track and about the only things left to do on this job is a little floor patching in and some dry wall work and taping and painting," Union Carpenter Jay Prokupek said.
Hard Rock representatives say they've hired some Siouxland-based companies to help with the construction.
