SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Children gathered at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center in Sioux City Thursday to expand their knowledge on animal tracks

It's part of the center's Take a Kid Outdoors Program.

The children started off in the classroom learning about different types of animal tracks at the center.

Then, they got to choose a mold to make an animal track of their own to take home.

"I made molds of animal footprints. I picked a fox I think," said Cadence Arnold.

"It's a lot of fun. I am always learning from them just as much as I hope I'm teaching them," said Theresa Kruid, Naturalist.

The children then walked outside to discover tracks left by the animals at the Nature Center.
