Fire burns several acres of land near Homer, NE


NEAR HOMER, Neb. (KTIV) Crews remain at the scene at this hour after a fire broke out, burning up to 150 acres near Homer, Nebraska.

Authorities say it broke out around 11 a.m. Friday.  It happened in the 2500 block of Highway 77 just south of Homer.

Crews from six different departments are working to get the fire out.

At this point, authorities say no structures have been involved.

Authorities say this is the same location as a controlled burn from Thursday.
