SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A man arrested in connection with a murder of a Sioux City man was set to appear in court Friday.

22-year-old Ricardo Vital was supposed to appear for a plea and sentencing, but the hearing was pushed back to the end of June.

Even though, Vital wasn't in court, his family waited patiently, not sure if the court date would be moved or not.

Vital was arrested in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Adrian Rojas Hernandez.

At the end of October, Hernandez was shot in the head inside this home in the 1400 block of West 15th Street.

His body was found in a ditch 70 miles away in South Dakota.

Police were then led to Vital's home and charged him with accessory after the fact in the crime.

Police said Vital helped clean up the crime scene and dispose of the body.
