Jamal Dean pleads "not guilty" to new charges

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Jamal Dean has pleaded not guilty to new charges filed against him last week.

Dean, his brother Levon Dean and Sarah Berg were already facing nine charges, including robbery and carjacking from break-ins back in April.

Last week, the U-S District Attorney filed new charges of interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle.

Levon Dean and Berg have not entered their pleas to those charges.

An arraignment has been set for April 28, 2014.

A judge has ordered Jamal and Levon be tried separately from Berg on all the charges.

Her trial is set for May 12, 2014.

Their trial is set for June 9th.
