Levon Dean enters not guilty plea to new charges

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) A Sioux City man pleaded not guilty to new charges stemming from a robbery at a local motel.

During an arraignment in U-S District Court Monday morning, Levon Dean pleaded not guilty to charges of interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle following an incident at the Palmer House Motel.

Levon Dean along with his brother, Jamal and Sarah Berg are all accused in the crime.

They face a total of ten charges, including robbery and carjacking from the break-ins back in April.

Jamal and Berg entered written not guilty pleas last week.

A judge has ordered Jamal and Levon Dean be tried separately from Berg on all the charges.

Her trial is set for May 12th.

Their trial is set for June 9th.
