Bomb threat forces lockdown at Yankton High School

YANKTON, S.D. (KTIV) - Yankton, South Dakota High School was put into lockdown earlier Tuesday after receiving a bomb threat.

School Principal Dr. Jennifer Johnke said police were called to the school after receiving the threat.

She said students and classrooms went under lockdown as police investigated.

Dr. Johnke said police arrested one suspect and no evacuation of the school was required.

She said following the arrest they were given the all clear.

The identity of the suspect is not being released at this time.
