LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Harrison Ford will be back. So will Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.

The cast of the next "Star Wars" film has been revealed and it's a mixture of the old and the new. Peter Mahew will return as Chewbacca, Kenny Baker will squeeze into R2-D2 and Anthony Daniels will be back as C-3PO.

The new characters will be played by newcomers and veteran actors.

Adam Driver, the guy who plays Lena Dunham's boyfriend in "Girls," is one of them.

It's expected that he'll be the bad guy. Oscar Isaac from "Inside Llewyn Davis" will have a role, as will Max Von Sydow and Andy Serkis, who's known for providing the movements for Gollum. John Williams will compose the score.

The movie will take place 30 years after "Return of the Jedi."

It's expected to be out by December 2015.
