What's Trending: Mutts steals mitts

MONMOUTH, Ore. - A dog on the loose stole the show during the second inning of Western Oregon/Simon Fraser University (B.C.) Division II softball game.

The playful pooch just couldn't resist having a little fun of its own and pulled off a couple of steals.  It didn't steal bases, but rather gloves.

First, it snags shortstop Melanie Pfeiffer's glove and headed into the outfield toward Danielle Harcourt.  Harcourt's glove was next as the crafty canine continued gallivanting around the field.

Eventually, the glove was retrieved and the dog hit the exit gate to search for its chagrinned owners.

The Wolves players got a big kick out of the whole thing.  It also helps they were winning 8-0 at the time.
