Iowa middle school students accused of spiking cookies with pot during home-ec class


(KWQC) A group of Iowa middle school students are accused of bringing marijuana to school, then taking it a step further in the classroom.

Police said the boys were attempting to bake marijuana into cookies at Edward Stone Middle School in Burlington.

"Step A on Monday, Step B on Tuesday. Step A would have been making the cookie dough, it sat in a refrigerator and then Step B would have been making the cookies. It never made it to Step B," said Lt. Jeff Klein of the Burlington Police Department.
