Bandits move into tie for 1st with 60-52 win over Oklahoma

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The Sioux City Bandits held off a late rally from Oklahoma, hanging on for a 60-52 Saturday night at the Tyson Events Center.
Sioux City is now tied atop the CPIFL standings with Wichita as both squads now boast 6-2 marks.
The Wild lost to Salina 13-11.
Scott Jensen was nearly flawless in the pocket, completing 14-of-17 pass attempts to tune of 219 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Lorenzo Brown added a 29-yard passing touchdown on a reverse in the second quarter.
Fredrick Bruno made 8 grabs for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Eddie Pertilla had three for 88 yards and two scores.
The Bandits defense was strong again, picking off the Defenders four times. Rahn Franklin tallied three, pushing his league-leading total to seven. Angelo Pree also had an interception in the first half.
Sioux City returns to the Tyson on May 10 to take on the Omaha Beef.
