Irving Jensen, Jr. presented with Treasure of Sioux City award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - One of Sioux City's own was honored Friday at the City Managers Meeting.

Irving Jensen Junior was presented with the Treasure of Sioux City award for all that he's done for the community.

"I guess I'm motivated by my love for this community, this country, this state and all the people that have surrounded me through my life and a wonderful community that I've had the opportunity to grow up in," said Irving Jensen Jr., Award Recipient.

Irving Jensen Jr. was chosen in part for his efforts in projects to preserve the city's history through restoration of the Orpheum Theatre and building of the new Sioux City Public Museum.
