Hawkeyes, Huskers & Cyclones drafted on final day of NFL Draft

New York City (KTIV) -     Iowa Linebacker Anthony Hitchens joins fellow linebacker Christian Kirksey and tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz as Hawkeyes taken in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Dallas drafted Hitchens in the 4th round with 119th overall pick.

In his final year with Iowa, Hitchens recorded 112 tackles, which includes two sacks.

    For the second straight Iowa State had a linebacker taken in the Draft. Jeremiah George was selected by the New York Jets in the 5th round with the 154th overall pick.
The former Cyclone ranked 4th in the nation in tackles per game, averaging more than 11 stops per game last season.

    Nebraska wide receiver Quincy Enunwa is will be joining George in New York.

The Jets snagged Enunwa with the 209th overall pick in the 6th round.

The former Husker racked up 753 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns last season for the Big Red.  Offensive guard Spencer Long and corner back Stanley Jean-Baptiste as Nebraska players drafted.
