High school students present final projects

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Students from all Sioux City public high schools presented their final projects Tuesday.

The students are part of the Civil Engineering and Architecture Class at the Career Academy.

Four groups of students could choose to redesign a space for the HoChunk Center or the Sioux City Museum.

It is part of "Lead the Way" course for the students.

"I think that it is really important that we get the students input on what the classrooms look like especially us engineering students. It is a nice pay off to be able to show off everything that we have learned in a practical way," said Hannah Rens, Student.

The students presented their plans and some of their ideas might actually be used in local projects.
