SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) A Sioux City man has pleaded not guilty in connection with the death of a two month-old baby.

26 year-old Michael Williams is charged with Neglect of a Dependent Person.

Court documents show Williams walked into UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's in Sioux City late last month, carrying the deceased infant.  Williams admitted to police that he left the child alone, daily, for long periods of time.

At his apartment, police say they found dirty diapers and garbage all over.

Williams also faces charges for probation violations, in separate cases.
