Vietnam War Veterans reunite in Siouxland

Vietnam War Veterans with ties to the 185th Air Refueling Wing came to Siouxland to honor one of their own. The former F-100 pilots spent a year in Vietnam. On Thursday, they paid a visit to the Siouxland Freedom Park in South Sioux City, Nebraska. There they saw the name of a fellow pilot etched in stone. Warren Brown was killed in action in 1968. The former pilots, together for the first time in 45 years, also took a tour of the 185th.

Norfolk students experience distracted driving at the annual Act Out Loud contest

Siouxland students get a lesson in the dangers of distracted driving. The Norfolk Junior Optimist Octagon International Club put on its second annual Act Out Loud contest in the high school's parking lot. Simulators let students experience what it's like to text and driving and driving impaired.  They also tried out the seat belt convincer. This year's theme is One Second Is All It Takes.

Orange City has big plans for an addition to 2015 Tulip Festival

The tulip festival is underway in Orange City, Iowa and one of the highlights was Thursday night's parade. It was a chilly night, but there was a lot to see, including plenty of bands and floats. KTIV's Beverly Perry and Kayah Gausman were flinging Bings. There are parades each day of the tulip festival, which continues through Saturday in Orange City.

Parade kicks off Morningside Days

Morningside Days kicked off with the annual parade Thursday evening. Lots of bands, clowns, floats, and candy as the parade rolled down Morningside Avenue. Morningside Days continues through the weekend.
