South Sioux boys fall to Lincoln SW at Nebraska Class A Soccer Tournament

OMAHA, Neb. (KTIV) - South Sioux City's quest for a Nebraska Class A soccer title came to an end with a 2-0 setback to Lincoln Southwest in the semifinals on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, in the 45th minute the Silver Hawks' Justin Wiley put Southwest out front 1-0.

With two minute remaining in regulation, AJ Wiley secured the victory, netting the second goal of the game.

It was South Sioux City's first year competing in Class A. The Cardinals won the Class B title last season.

They end the season with an 18-2 record.  The loss ends the Cardinals 16-game winning streak.
