Three contestants take their last shot tonight in part one of "The Voice" season finale

(NBC) "The Voice" will crown a new champion this week.

The show's final three singers perform tonight to vie for America's vote.

Josh Kaufman's finale preparation with his coach, Usher, has been intense.

"The way he communicates, really makes sense to me, so I get where he's trying to go with things," Kaufman says.

Their work the past few weeks has the 38-year-old from Indiana on the verge of something big.

Texas teen Jake Worthington has shared a country connection with Blake Shelton, and benefited, from some extra coaching this week.

"We get to hang out with them, see them, talk with them off camera and they come to us, 'Hey, I need to talk to you'," Worthington says.

Last week's outside-the-box tune selection nearly did Christina Grimmie in.

She says she's been saving the best for last.

Viewers will find out Monday night.
