Dakota Valley voters weigh bond to expand high school


NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (KTIV) - Voters in the Dakota Valley school district are voting on a new addition to the high school.

The addition would allow the school to accommodate more students as well as add new classrooms.

The estimated cost for the expansion project is $27-million.

The current facility, in North Sioux City, South Dakota, is 20-years old.

Polls close at 7:00pm Tuesday night.

If the bond passes, site work will begin in the fall.
