Principal got into a "sticky" situation to reward his students

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE (KTIV) - SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV)- One Siouxland principal got a bit sticky Thursday. Strip by strip, each student took their turn duct taping their principal at Cardinal Elementary School in South Sioux City, Nebraska to a wall.

Students from all grade levels, that showed progress throughout the year, got a turn. "It was really exciting," said Garret Morgan, Student. "Excited," said Gabrila Avila, Student. "We put a lot of hard work in and it's fun to see the kids with their results and do something fun with it," said Dan Swatek, Principal.

After they were all done, Principal Dan Swatek had to stay against the wall for the entire lunch period.

Swatek says while Thursday was fun, he'll have to think of something different and bigger for next year.
