SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall will be dedicated Wednesday at the Siouxland Freedom Park in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

The monument is a half-scale black granite replica of the wall in Washington, D.C. that bears the names of the 58,000 Americans who died in Vietnam.

Visitors already have been stopping by the memorial ahead of Wednesday afternoon's dedication ceremony.

Siouxland Freedom Park President Mike Newhouse says he expects a lot of veterans to attend the event, which begins at 5 p.m.

KTIV's Mark Freund will be there and we'll have a full wrap-up on News 4 at Ten.
