NE man faces additional charges in Oakdale tent incident
OAKDALE, Neb. (KTIV/US92) - The man who hit tent of boys in an Oakdale backyard is facing additional charges.
42-year-old Stephen Barrington of Oakdale was arrested following an incident, which started after an argument with his wife, when he drove through the couple's backyard in the 700-block of 5th Street around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, May 25 accidentally hitting the tent.
Five boys were in and around the tent and three of the boys were treated and released at Antelope Memorial Hospital. The fourth was treated at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. All four boys who were injured have been released and are at home with their parents.
Barrington was originally arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, he has additionally been charged with four counts of 3rd degree assault.
Barrington will make his first court appearance in this case on June 4th at 9:30am in Antelope County Court in Neligh.
