Identity Released of stabbing victim in Storm Lake, Iowa

STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) - Police have released the name of the victim stabbed during an incident in Storm Lake on Sunday night.

Police say Jose Sevilla-Perez of Storm Lake stabbed 29-year-old Fabian Veloz-Corrales of Storm Lake multiple times.

The 39-year-old Sevilla-Perez faces five charges, including felony counts of Going Armed With Intent, Willful Injury and Assault While Participating in a Felony Causing Injury.

Police say the confrontation was because of loud music which began as a physical fight that escalated.

Sevilla-Perez was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $25,600.00 bond.

Veloz-Carrales was released from Buena Vista Regional Hospital on Monday.
