Kids help raise money for Children's Museum of Siouxland

Young entrepreneurs are raising money to help support the new Children's Museum of Siouxland.

Throughout the month of June, kids will be setting up stands across Siouxland selling lemonade.

It's all part of "Lemonade Days," a way to get local kids involved in fundraising and learn what it's like to become a philanthropist.

Last year, Mara Aesoph raised almost $700. And she says she's already making plans for this year.

"Well, I can't wait to raise even more money for the Children's Museum, cause it'll be really fun and I think that it'll go to a good cause," said young entrepreneur Mara Aesoph.

All the money raised from "Lemonade Days" will benefit the Children's Museum of Siouxland. The museum says kids of all ages are welcome to participate in the event.

The Children's Museum of Siouxland will open its doors to the public in August of next year.
