Hooper, NE teen killed in crash near Fremont

A Hooper, Nebraska teen is among two teenage boys that were killed in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday.

The accident occurred just after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 77 and Nebraska Highway 91 north of Fremont.

Dodge County Sheriff Steve Hespen 15-year-old Dalan Brandt, of Hooper, was the passenger in the vehicle driven by 17-year-old Bryan Huff, of Fremont.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Hespen says the truck was driven by 51-year-old Byron Morrow, of Tekamah.

Morrow was headed west on Nebraska 91 before turning south onto U.S. 77.

That's when the big rig was struck by the car.
