Power is restored to over 6,000 MidAmerican customers in Sioux City including KTIV News 4

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Around 1:30 a.m., power was restored to almost all 6,000 MidAmerican customers.
Earlier, at 11:45 p.m. on Friday, June 6, MidAmerican's website reported, "Due to a transformer failure, we are experiencing power outages in Sioux City. At this time we cannot give any estimates for power restoration".
This outage impacted over 6,000 customers, including KTIV News 4.
KTIV lost power to the station at 11:45 p.m.. putting the station off air.
But now, KTIV, MeTV and The Siouxland CW, are back on air.
According to MidAmerican's website there are a few customers still without power.
