Servicemen and women welcomed home in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Directly following the change of command at the 185th Air Refueling Wing, leaders at the base showed their gratitude to all those who have deployed during the past year.

One-hundred-thirty members were recognized for their service all over the world to places like Qatar, Afghanistan, Oman, and Kyrgyzstan.

"It's an honor. It truly is. There's a lot of people that go overseas and come home, and it's just a great opportunity for those to be recognized, who do sacrifice their time and family, and just everything," Medic with 185th Medical Group Kathryn Perez said.

All those recognized received a certificate of appreciation.
